The KNX Basic Preparatory Course is an online, self-paced training program designed to prepare students for the official KNX Basic Certification path. Following the KNX Association training framework, the course delivers the theoretical portion of KNX Basic training online, giving students the flexibility to learn before attending the required practical training.

Instead of completing the theoretical lessons in a traditional classroom environment, students can study the fundamental principles of KNX anytime and from anywhere, progressing through the material at their own pace.

This flexible format allows integrators, electrical contractors, engineers, designers, technicians and building-automation professionals to complete the theoretical portion without spending additional days away from their businesses or projects.

Continue Toward KNX Certification

After successfully completing the online preparatory course, students may choose to enroll in the KNX Condensed Practical Basic Course, where they apply their theoretical knowledge through hands-on exercises using ETS and real KNX equipment.
