By accessing IKNXUSA.com, creating an account, placing an order, registering for training, purchasing services, or otherwise using the website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

IKNXUSA provides products, information, training, engineering resources, and related services for KNX and professional building-automation applications.
Products offered through IKNXUSA may include components for:

- DALI and DALI-2
- 0–10 V and 1–10 V control

Many products sold through IKNXUSA are professional components requiring appropriate system design, installation, configuration, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
2. Product Selection and Compatibility
Customers are responsible for verifying that products are appropriate for their intended application before purchasing or installing them.
Product compatibility may depend on factors including:

- Communication protocol
- KNX application program
- ETS version
- Firmware and software versions
- Mounting requirements
- Power-supply requirements

- Other connected equipment
- Certification or listing requirements
- Applicable electrical and building codes
The fact that two products support KNX, DALI, Modbus, BACnet, 0–10 V, or another common technology does not necessarily guarantee complete interoperability or suitability for a particular application.

3. Product Information
IKNXUSA makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, specifications, photographs, technical information, pricing, availability, and certification information.
However, manufacturers may modify products, specifications, firmware, documentation, pricing, packaging, certification status, or availability without notice.
Product photographs may be representative and may differ from the current product revision or packaging.
Manufacturer documentation should be consulted before specification, installation, or commissioning.
IKNXUSA reserves the right to correct typographical errors, inaccurate information, pricing errors, product descriptions, or other website content.
4. U.S. Market Products and Certifications
IKNXUSA may identify products as suitable or selected for the U.S. market based on available manufacturer information, electrical characteristics, certification documentation, installation characteristics, or other relevant product information.
References to UL, ETL, cDEKRAus, or other certifications or listings apply only to the specific products and certifications identified.
The designation “U.S. Market” does not mean that every product carries the same certification or listing.
Customers, designers, contractors, and other professionals remain responsible for verifying that a product meets the requirements of the intended application and the applicable Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
5. Pricing
Prices displayed on IKNXUSA.com are subject to change without notice.
Prices do not necessarily include shipping, taxes, duties, special handling, engineering, installation, programming, commissioning, or other services unless specifically stated.
IKNXUSA reserves the right to correct pricing errors before an order is fulfilled.
If a material pricing error affects an order, we may contact the customer before processing or cancel and refund the affected item or order.
6. Orders
Submission of an order does not necessarily constitute final acceptance by IKNXUSA.
IKNXUSA reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to decline or cancel orders because of circumstances including:
- Product unavailability
- Incorrect pricing or product information
- Manufacturer restrictions
- Suspected fraud
- Payment problems
- Shipping restrictions
- Export or regulatory restrictions
- Errors in the order
- Other legitimate business reasons
If payment has already been collected for an order that IKNXUSA cancels, the applicable amount will be refunded.
7. Special Orders
Many KNX and professional building-automation products are special-order items.
Once a special-order product has been submitted to the manufacturer, distributor, or supplier, the order may not be cancelable or returnable.
Customers should carefully verify part numbers, specifications, electrical characteristics, certifications, quantities, and compatibility before ordering.
Estimated availability and shipping dates are not guaranteed.
8. Payment
Payment is required according to the terms presented during checkout, quotation, invoice, or other applicable sales documentation.
Orders may not be processed or released until required payment has been received and authorized.
Customers agree to provide accurate billing and payment information.
9. Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be collected where required by law.
Tax obligations may vary according to the customer’s location, transaction, product type, and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
Customers claiming tax-exempt status may be required to provide valid exemption documentation before an order is processed as tax exempt.
10. Shipping and Returns
Shipping, delivery, cancellation, return, and refund requirements are governed by the current IKNXUSA Shipping & Returns Policy.
Customers should review that policy before placing an order, particularly when purchasing special-order or project-specific products.
11. Product Warranties
Products are subject to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, if any, unless IKNXUSA expressly provides a separate written warranty.
Warranty claims and procedures are governed by the IKNXUSA Warranty Policy and applicable manufacturer warranty terms.
12. Professional Installation
Many products offered by IKNXUSA should be installed, configured, and commissioned by appropriately qualified professionals.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that installation complies with:
- Manufacturer instructions
- Product specifications
- Applicable electrical codes
- Building codes
- Local regulations
- Project specifications
- Requirements of the applicable Authority Having Jurisdiction
IKNXUSA is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation, incorrect wiring, inappropriate voltage, unauthorized modification, misuse, improper programming, or operation outside manufacturer specifications, subject to applicable law.
13. Technical Support and Engineering Information
Technical information provided through IKNXUSA.com, email, telephone conversations, training materials, articles, diagrams, product descriptions, or other communications is intended to assist qualified professionals and customers.
Unless specifically provided under a separate written professional-services agreement, such information should not be considered a substitute for project-specific engineering, architectural, electrical, code, or other professional design services.
Every project should be evaluated according to its specific requirements.
14. Training
Training programs may be subject to separate registration requirements, schedules, prerequisites, attendance requirements, examination requirements, cancellation policies, and certification rules.
Where KNX certification is involved, applicable requirements established by KNX Association and the authorized training program may also apply.
Completion of preparatory or educational material does not automatically guarantee certification, examination success, or professional qualification.
15. Accounts
Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for activities performed through their accounts.
Customers agree to provide accurate and current account information.
IKNXUSA reserves the right to restrict or terminate accounts associated with fraudulent activity, unauthorized use, abuse, violations of these Terms, or other unlawful activity, subject to applicable law.
16. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, original website content created by IKNXUSA or InstallAV, Inc., including original text, graphics, page designs, educational materials, and other original content, is owned by or licensed to InstallAV, Inc. and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
